2025/26 PolyU SPEED Belt and Road Scholarship at Hong Kong Polytechnic University

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED) is excited to announce the PolyU SPEED Belt and Road Scholarship for the academic year 2025/26.

This initiative supports the Hong Kong SAR Government’s goal of enhancing Hong Kong’s reputation as a global education hub under the “Study in Hong Kong” brand.

Scholarship Objectives

• Support Outstanding Students: The scholarship aims to assist top-tier tertiary students from Belt and Road countries/regions in pursuing a two-year full-time undergraduate top-up degree (senior year admission) at PolyU SPEED, earning a degree from one of the world’s top 100 universities.
• Enhance Educational and Cultural Exchanges: By fostering academic and cultural interactions between Hong Kong and Belt and Road countries/regions, the program contributes to global educational cooperation.

Benefits of the Scholarship

• Full-Tuition Scholarship: Covers the entire tuition fee.
• Half-Tuition Scholarship: Reduces tuition costs by half.
  The scholarship amount will be determined based on the academic merit of individual applicants.

Entrance Requirements

Applicants must possess:

• An Associate Degree, Higher Diploma, or an equivalent qualification.*

An Associate Degree or Higher Diploma earned in Hong Kong is equivalent to the first two years of a four-year bachelor’s degree.
