About the EU CopPhil Scholarship Programme
The EU’s Copernicus programme, in collaboration with CopPhil, a key initiative under the EU’s Global Gateway Strategy, proudly launches the EU CopPhil Scholarship Programme for advanced studies in Earth Observation and Remote Sensing. This initiative is implemented by a Stantec-led consortium and is fully sponsored by the EU.
This prestigious scholarship is exclusively available to Filipino citizens working in government agencies such as the Philippines Space Agency (PhilSA), the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DSHUD), the Department of Agriculture (DA), and the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA).
The programme aims to support professionals in climate change, natural resource management, and disaster risk reduction, equipping them with specialized training to enhance the application of Copernicus data in governance and policymaking within the Philippines.
