Pep Guardiola made two changes to the Manchester City side that beat Chelsea on Saturday, knowing anything but a win against Club Brugge will result in elimination from the Champions League.
Man City, as always, dominated the game but failed to get past Club Brugge’s defence. Just as the first half nears its end, the visitors shocked Guardiola’s men with a thunderous strike by Super Eagles star Raphael Onyedika.
The host came into the second half and scored two goals in quick succession from a Mateo Kovacic strike before an own goal gave them the lead.

Guardiola’s men added the third goal to seal the win after a nice movement from Salvinho ended into the back of the net.
The win put the Citizens in 22nd position, which was enough for them to qualify for the UCL playoffs.
