It is now 921 goals for Cristiano Ronaldo after he scored for Al Raed.

At the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Friday, Cristiano Ronaldo led Al Nassr to a 2-1 victory over Al Raed in a Saudi Pro League match.

In the 35th minute, a skillfully performed free-kick broke the tie in a contested affair.

Ronaldo powers Al Nassr to victory

After neatly avoiding the offside trap, Ronaldo skillfully flicked the perfectly weighted pass into the box from Marcelo Brozovic, scoring his 15th league goal of the year.

The Knights of Najd extended their lead in the 47th minute, shortly after halftime.

This time, Ronaldo took the initiative and found left-back Nawaf Boushal, who had made a fantastic overlapping run, with his pass.

After getting past the defender with his first touch, Boushal coolly placed the ball past the diving goalie to increase his team’s lead to 2-0.

However, Al Raed was unwilling to accept defeat and their captain, Amir Sayoud, pulled his club back into the match at 2-1 in the 76th minute with a flash of individual skill.

The goal gave the home team new hope as they started to put a lot of pressure on Al Nassr and threatened to find a way to tie the score.

Ronaldo and company were able to maintain their lead and secure the three points in spite of Al Raed’s late comeback.

Al Nassr now has 38 points after 18 games, which puts them in third place in the league standings.
