Annie Kilner and Kyle Walker were spotted having lunch with their four children in Milan as they hope to give their marriage another chance.
Kyle Walker has reunited with his estranged wife Annie Kilner and their children in Milan ahead of his highly anticipated debut for Italian giants AC Milan.
The former Manchester City captain, 34, is set to make his bow in the Milan derby against fierce rivals Inter on Sunday.
The Sun reports that Annie, 31, flew in with their four children—Roman, 12, Riaan, nine, Reign, seven, and baby Rezon—on Friday afternoon to support him in this new chapter of his career.
The family is said to have arrived via a £50,000 private jet from Manchester Airport, touching down in Milan before heading to the luxurious five-star Melia Milano hotel where Walker has been staying since sealing his move to the Rossoneri.
Photographs captured the emotional reunion, with Annie pushing baby Rezon in a stroller while a beaming Kyle scooped up his youngest son and waved to fans.
Their three older children, sporting matching Fear of God tracksuits, were also seen chatting with Walker’s new boss, Sergio Conceicao.
“It was a beautiful moment,” a source told The Sun.
“He was clearly overjoyed to see them all. It means the world to him that they’ll be there in the stadium to watch him make his debut for AC Milan.”
Walker also received a special message from England legend and former Milan player David Beckham, who encouraged him to “keep going” after choosing his jersey no.32 previously worn by the Red Devils icon.
Beckham, who wore the famous Milan jersey during his loan spell in 2009, remains a revered figure at the club.
Again, Kyle Walker has reportedly incurred the wrath of Annie Kilner amid his intentions to fix his rocky marriage following his transfer to AC Milan.
Kyle Walker set for new beginnings amid personal turmoil
While Walker’s professional career takes a new turn, his personal life has been the subject of intense scrutiny.
The England right-back’s move to Italy comes after a turbulent period, including his highly publicised affair with influencer Lauryn Goodman, which resulted in the birth of a second child.
The scandal led to Annie filing for divorce while she was pregnant with Rezon.
Walker later publicly apologised in an interview with The Sun, pleading for forgiveness and vowing to make amends.
Despite their rocky past, Annie’s presence in Milan suggests an attempt at reconciliation or, at the very least, a united front for their children.
“Their struggles are well documented,” the source added.
“But they’ve put it to one side for now to enjoy this moment as a family.”
Walker’s AC Milan debut on Sunday will be a significant milestone, not just in his football career but also in his personal redemption story.
His move to Milan is currently a loan deal, but sources suggest it is likely to be made permanent in the summer, marking the end of his illustrious eight-year tenure at Manchester City, where he won 17 major trophies, including six Premier League titles and a Champions League crown.
