We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Wealth Manager

Location: Maryland, Lagos
Level: Senior
Organization Type: Non-Bank Financial Institution
Reporting line: Head, Business Development

Role Overview

  • This role is primarily responsible for driving liability generation for the institution, building and managing strategic relationships for investors and serving as the single point of contact for new business as well existing portfolios.

Objectives of this Role

  • Developing and implementing strategic marketing plans that align with the company’s business objectives and target audience in the target audience market.
  • Driving liability generation for the institution, building and managing strategic relationships for investors and serving as the single point of contact for new business as well existing portfolios.
  • Managing marketing budgets and optimising marketing spends to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Fostering relationships with key business partners and stakeholders to maximise marketing reach and impact.
  • Collaborating with the Business Development Team, including product development, sales and operations to ensure a seamless alignment and the execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador, representing the company’s values and maintaining consistent brand identity with investors and potential investors.

Tasks

  • Develop and implement a business development plan to improve assets, retention of financial investment and manage withdrawal attrition.
  • Develop and implement a business plan for identified target markets with identified volumes to drive high volumes of new deposits to the company
  • Source new HNI clients and corporate Businesses and persuade them to make financial investments.
  • Create and enhance new methods for rewarding investors with interest on all investments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients and individual depositors.
  • Innovate and develop attractive value-added deposit products together with the Business Development team to achieve the overall deposit targets.
  • Optimise multi-channel marketing efforts to reach target audiences effectively.
  • Curate pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the marketplace.
  • Lead strategic partnerships and collaborations with corporate organizations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate, private individual and HNI clients
  • Meet assigned targets and quotas in wealth creation and other assigned tasks
  • Develop Strong referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas.
  • Go the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, customer loyalty and satisfaction throughout the underwriting process.
  • Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines.
  • Source appropriately priced and structured liabilities for the company from retail and institutional sources.
  • Ensure due diligence is always enforced to meet the requirements of the regulator and also protect the interest of both the investors and the organization.
  • Meet assigned targets and quota in wealth creation and other assigned tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or an equivalent field with 3 -5 years’ experience in liability generation
  • Proven track record of developing, managing and executing wide-ranging marketing campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of the public sector and finance market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in public relations, business development strategies, customer experience enrichment, analytics and data-led marketing.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor and develop marketing professionals.
  • Proven knowledge and experience selling investment products
  • Relevant experience in a Finance House, Asset Management Firm, Microfinance or commercial bank is non-negotiable
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with a basic level of sophistication in personal interaction and grooming.
  • Target and results-oriented and willing to take responsibilities
  • Good written and oral communication.
  • Ability to initiate and pursue projects approved by management on his initiative.
  • Confident personality with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior executives and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to leverage data and insights for informed decision-making.
  • Attention to detail.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, customer relationship management (CRM) systems and analytics platforms.
  • Experience in scaling marketing operations and expanding into new markets.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and legal considerations related to marketing activities in Nigeria.
  • Understanding of data privacy and protection regulations and their implications for marketing practices.

2.) Business Developer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Reports to: Head of Centre

Direct Reports: None

Main Function

  • The Business Developer is responsible for driving revenue growth, increasing enrolment, and establishing strategic partnerships for the edu-play centre.
  • This includes identifying new opportunities, developing marketing strategies, and building relationships with parents, schools, and community organizations.

Role Responsibilities
Client Acquisition and Retention:

  • Identify and target potential clients, such as parents, schools, and corporate partners, to increase enrolment.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders to drive referrals and repeat business.
  • Develop and execute strategies to retain existing clients and encourage loyalty

Market Research and Strategy Development:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth.
  • Analyze customer needs and preferences to tailor the centre’s services and offerings.
  • Develop marketing campaigns and promotional strategies to boost visibility and engagement.

Partnership and Community Engagement:

  • Identify and negotiate partnerships with schools, organizations, and businesses to promote the centre’s programs.
  • Represent the centre at networking events, exhibitions, and community initiatives to increase brand visibility.
  • Organize and participate in open houses, workshops, and special events to attract prospective clients.

Sales and Reporting:

  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline to track leads and conversion rates.
  • Prepare reports on business development activities, revenue performance, and market insights.
  • Collaborate with the Content Creator and Social Media Manager to design impactful marketing content.

Qualifications
Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 4 years experience in a business development, sales, or marketing role.
  • Experience in the education or childcare industry is an advantage.

Skills:
Business Acumen:

  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, revenue generation, and market positioning.

Communication and Networking:

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Marketing Expertise:

  • Proficiency in developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns.

3.) Caregiver

Reports to: Head of Centre

Main Function

  • The Caregiver provides attentive, compassionate, and professional care to children at the edu-play centre.
  • This includes supervising activities, fostering a safe and nurturing environment, and promoting the physical, emotional, and social development of each child.
  • The role requires a high level of patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children.

Role Responsibilities
Child Supervision and Interaction:

  • Supervise and engage children during playtime, educational activities, and mealtimes.
  • Provide personalized attention to each child, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Foster positive relationships among children to encourage social development.

Program Support:

  • Assist in organizing and implementing age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
  • Encourage creativity, exploration, and learning through structured and unstructured play.
  • Monitor children’s progress and behavior, reporting any concerns to the Head of Centre.

Health, Safety, and Hygiene:

  • Ensure a clean and safe environment, including sanitizing toys, play areas, and equipment.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols, such as emergency procedures and first aid guidelines.
  • Support children with basic needs, including feeding, diaper changes, and potty training when required.

Parent Communication:

  • Communicate daily updates about each child’s activities, achievements, and challenges to parents.
  • Build trust and rapport with parents by addressing their concerns in a professional and caring manner.

Qualifications
Education and Certifications

  • A Degree in a related field
  • Certification in child care, early childhood education and first aid is an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with children in a similar capacity.

Skills
Interpersonal Skills:

  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Childcare Knowledge:

  • Understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
