Rivers Angels head coach, Tosan Blackson has boasted about his team’s quality following their derby win against Delta Queens.
The Jewels of Rivers defeated Delta Queens 2-1 in a keenly contested contest at the Stephen Keshi Stadium on Wednesday.
Blackson commended his players for the victory.
“I told you before the match that Delta Queens couldn’t withstand us, and it played out that way.” Blackson stated.
Rivers Angels now occupy second position on the table with 10 points from four games.
They will slug it out with Bayelsa Queens in a matchday five fixture at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Wednesday.
