The foundation has launched the IEF Talents Programme for final-year university STEM students and students of colleges of education. This program is designed to support exceptional students financially and to offer them a smooth transition into the teaching profession through direct employment in one of the foundation’s schools upon graduation.

Benefits of Ikota Educational Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship

Financial Support: Each selected scholarship grantee receives a sum of N500,000 (five hundred thousand naira) to cover their academic fees, course materials, and other essential expenses for the academic session.

Professional Training and Mentorship: Scholars participate in professional development workshops led by experienced educators within the foundation’s schools.

Guaranteed Employment: Upon successful completion of their program and certification, scholarship grant recipients are offered immediate employment within the foundation’s network of schools.

Requirements for Ikota Educational Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship
- Be a female in her final year of (i) a teacher education program at an accredited college of education or (ii) a university undergraduate degree program in any of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) courses.

Have a domicile in Enugu.

Demonstrate academic excellence with a strong record of achievement and good character.

Show a commitment to the teaching profession and a desire to contribute positively to the education of the youth.

Exhibit qualities of leadership, compassion, and an ability to engage with young learners and their parents. Effective communication skills are crucial.
