Richflood International Limited works closely with the public and private sectors in Nigeria and providing services related to Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) including Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs), Environmental Auditing (EAu), Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS), E&S Due Diligence (ESDD) studies, Resettlement Action Programme (RAP) and related services.
Richflood helps clients meet international lender requirements (e.g. IFC, World Bank, AfDB and Equator Principles) and guides lenders investment decisions in relation to environmental and social risks.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Geoanalytical Laboratory Analyst
Location: Abuja
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental and mineral ore testing with precision and accuracy.
- Operate and maintain Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) and other laboratory instruments.
- Analyze samples in compliance with ISO 17025 standards and industry best practices.
- Ensure quality control and documentation of laboratory procedures.
- Assist in laboratory audits, reporting, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to research, method development, and laboratory process improvements.
- Collaborate with the laboratory team to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of results.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geochemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental testing, mineral analysis, or industrial laboratory settings.
- Proficiency in Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) and related analytical techniques.
- Strong understanding of ISO17025 laboratory accreditation requirements.
- IPAN certification and ISO training (completed and certified) is a plus.
- Experience with sample preparation, quality assurance, and laboratory data interpretation.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
