End Bad Governance: Kaduna Govt to reintegrate, rehabilitate 42 minors ​

Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani has injected new hopes into the lives of 42 persons released from detention on the order of President Bola Tinubu.

He pledged to enroll them in skill acquisition centre

The 42 minors were arrested during the protest against the government of President Tinubu.

However, governor Sani, who wrote on his verified Facebook page, gave the assurance when he received in audience Honorable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Prof. Nentawe G. Yilwatda at Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, Kaduna

According to him, “The 42 minors were assessed, documented, and made undergo psychosocial counseling.

“They were provided with adequate healthcare, shelter, and financial assistance, before they were reunited with their families.

“The State Government is finalizing plans to enroll the minors in Skills Acquisition Centres.

“We intend to train the minors so that they can sustain themselves and contribute to the economic growth and development of our state.”
