Enyimba have signed veteran striker Junior Lokosa in a bid to improve their goalscoring form.

Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) side Enyimba have announced the signing of experienced striker Junior Lokosa as they bid to avoid relegation.

The 31-year-old Lokosa, a former NPFL top scorer, joins Enyimba from Sporting Lagos, where he played last season.

Lokosa has also had stints with Kano Pillars, Remo Stars, Esperance in Tunisia, Simba Sports Club in Tanzania, and Al-Rayyan in Qatar.

What Kanu said

Enyimba chairman and Nigerian football legend Kanu Nwankwo expressed his delight with 31-year-old Lokosa and other new signings.

“We are thrilled to welcome these talented players to our squad. They bring a wealth of experience, skill, and passion, which will undoubtedly strengthen our team,” Kanu told the club’s official website.
