Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has been urged to go all out in the summer window to sign a player with the leadership qualities of Red Devils legend Roy Keane.
Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino has advised Manchester United to make a move for Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi.
Cascarino sees a lot of potential in the 24-year-old centre-back, who reminds him of Manchester United legend Roy Keane.
“Guehi is a very composed character, and that’s exactly what you want from your centre-back, especially if they’re going to be captain,” Cascarino wrote in his Times column.

“He reminds me a bit of Roy Keane in that respect. Keane had a reputation for being fiery, but he was Manchester United’s most important player because he was their most consistent performer.”
“If Manchester United and Ineos are serious about their direction, Guehi is someone they should be looking at,” he added.

Ruben Amorim has reportedly grown impatient with one Manchester United player, leading to suggestions the Red Devils could utilise Chido Obi-Martin more often.
Guehi has already attracted interest from several top clubs, including Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Chelsea. Newcastle had a £65million bid rejected by Palace last summer, while Tottenham’s January bid of £70m was also turned down.
Chelsea, who sold Guehi to Palace for just £18m in 2021, are reportedly poised to make another bid for the England international.
