The troops of Operation Fasan Yamma, OPFY, have intensified their operations against the bandit kingpin, Bello Turji, tracking his movements with precision as part of a strategic effort to eliminate him.

A reliable military source, who pleaded anonymity, confirmed that security forces have been closely monitoring Turji’s hideouts and activities, assuring that his reign of terror in the North West will soon be over.

According to the source, “Our intelligence is solid. Turji’s movements are no longer a secret to us. It’s only a matter of time before he is neutralized,” the source added.

DAILY POST reports that Bello Turji is the most wanted bandit leader by the military, responsible for numerous attacks, kidnappings, and killings across Zamfara, Sokoto, and Katsina States. The military’s renewed offensive, backed by air and ground operations, is tightening the noose around him.
