Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle would have liked what he saw from Chelsea’s Nigeria-eligible star Tosin Adarabioyo during the Blues win over Southampton
Super Eagles-eligible defender Tosin Adarabioyo put in an enticing shift in the heart of Chelsea’s defence as the Blues made light work of minnows Southampton.
Adarabioyo provided an assist for Christopher Nkunku’s opening goal and shut down Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu as Chelsea enjoyed a comfortable 4-0 win to move back into the top four.
How it happened
Chelsea dominated the Saints from start to finish to run out 4-0 winners in a routine victory at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues were rampant, opening the scoring in the 24th minute through Nkunku, who benefitted from Adarabioyo’s assist.
