Maduka Okoye has left the ladies thirsting over his good looks after making his first post on TikTok.

Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has sent social media into a frenzy after making his debut on TikTok, leaving female fans swooning over his undeniable good looks.

 Widely considered the most handsome Nigerian athlete and one of the most attractive footballers globally, Okoye knows exactly how to set hearts racing.

The 25-year-old shot-stopper made his first post on the platform on Thursday, February 27, sharing a clip of himself in an all-black outfit, donning shades, and flaunting his chiseled physique. 

The video was captioned: “New to this TikTok thing, should I stay?”

The post quickly gained traction, amassing over 355,000 views, 47,800 likes, and 535 comments. 

The ladies could not contain their excitement, with one user gushing: “Why don’t men like u exist in the UK lol.” 

Another fan lamented: “I live in the wrong country,” while a third admirer wrote: “Why don’t men like you exist in Denmark.” 

A fourth simply called him a “Beautiful man.”

Injury setback leaves Udinese in crisis

Despite his online popularity, Okoye has been out of action for Udinese since December after undergoing surgery on his right wrist. 

The club did not specify how long the Nigeria international would be sidelined, but he has missed 13 games in all competitions and is expected to remain out for a little longer.

Udinese have found themselves in a goalkeeping crisis, with Razvan Sava – Okoye’s deputy – also sidelined with a fractured finger. 

With both goalkeepers out, third-choice Padelli has been forced to step up while the club anxiously awaits Okoye’s return.

 However, Okoye’s absence could see him miss out on the Super Eagles’ crucial 2026 World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda on March 17 and Zimbabwe on March 24. 

Nigeria currently sit fifth in Group C with three points from four matches, four points behind leaders Rwanda.

Alleged betting scandal rocks Maduka Okoye’s career

Away from the pitch, Okoye is also facing serious allegations over suspicious betting patterns.

 The German-born goalkeeper is under investigation for allegedly receiving a yellow card on purpose during Udinese’s 2-1 win over Lazio last year.

If found guilty, he could face a lengthy ban from all football-related activities, as Italian regulations impose harsh penalties for athletes involved in match manipulation.
