The US Department of Energy (DOE) is inviting applications for the University Nuclear Leadership Program (UNLP) undergraduate scholarships for students pursuing nuclear energy-related fields.
These scholarships are designed to support students at various educational levels and institutions, including trade schools, community colleges, and four-year universities, with generous financial benefits for the academic year.
UNLP 2025 Scholarship Details
1.) Trade School and Community College Scholarship Program
- Award Amount: $5,000
- Eligibility: Students receiving training as nuclear energy-related technicians.
2.) 4-Year College/University Undergraduate Scholarship Program
- Award Amount: $10,000
- Eligibility: Students pursuing a nuclear energy-related degree at a four-year institution.
Both programs aim to strengthen the pipeline of talent entering nuclear energy-related fields, supporting students with tuition and other academic expenses.
Eligibility Criteria
The UNLP 2025 scholarships are open to the students planning to attend college in the upcoming academic year and also for the current undergraduate students enrolled in 2- or 4-year US institutions.
