According to reports, Bayer Leverkusen have decided to offload Victor Boniface in the summer transfer window.
Boniface has been a key player for Leverkusen since joining the club and has drawn interest from top clubs around the world.
During the January transfer window, the Super Eagles star was close to leaving the Bundesliga champions to Saudi Arabia.
However, the deal failed to materialise as Al Nassr pulled out of the deal on deadline day and opted for Aston Villa star Jon Duran.

Leverkusen have set an asking price for their star striker Boniface as they look to make him their first transfer sale this summer.
According to WerkselfXtra on X, “Victor Boniface is Xabi Alonso and Bayer Leverkusen’s number one candidate for sale this summer. The club wants at least €50m plus add-ons for the Nigerian.
Boniface has scored 7 goals this season in the Bundesliga.
“Major reasons for this are his off the field issues, actions like the push against Emiliano Buendía during the game in Frankfurt, the fact that the club wants to sell one striker this summer and the need for a big sale every year, which Boniface, unlike Schick, could provide.
“Boniface himself is frustrated with his role as a back-up and has not yet signed a new deal beyond 2028 at the club (contradicting @SkySportDE’s report from January), which would double his salary from around €3m to €6m per year.
“This could be because he is likely to leave in the summer. There is interest in him from the Premier League (from Newcastle, among others).
This season, Boniface has struggled to get enough playing time and has been mostly used as a backup in the team.
However, despite his limited playing time, he has scored seven goals in 14 appearances for Leverkusen this season.
