“I offed him” – Man stabs 18-year-old to death after catching him in bed with his wife
A man is worried about his relationship with his wife after he killed her much younger lover.
According to a criminal complaint obtained by local outlet WDEF, 41-year-old Jonathan Belk returned home early from a trip to find his 31-year-old wife in bed with a boy who just turned 18. He flew into a rage that led him to stab the boy to death and stuff his body into a trash can.
Police said that when they arrived at the home, Belk was “standing in his doorway covered in blood,” per the complaint.
Belk reportedly later admitted to attacking the teenager, and when asked if he was worried about anything other than his legal issues, he allegedly said, “I am worried about my relationship with my wife due to the fact that I offed him.”
Belk’s wife was also injured in the stabbing, and was taken to the hospital with stab wounds, the complaint said.
Belk was arrested and faces multiple charges, including criminal homicide.
