Berta, who is set to join Arsenal, is keen to make a statement signing and bring Cunha to the Emirates Stadium.
The forward has been in impressive form for Wolves this season, scoring 13 goals and providing four assists in the Premier League.

Cunha is a versatile forward who can play out wide or in an attacking midfield role, and Arsenal are looking to strengthen their options after a disappointing January transfer window.
They failed to sign a new attacker despite being linked with several players, including Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins and on-loan Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata.

Arsenal reportedly made a late attempt to sign a veteran striker on loan during the January transfer window.
The Brazilian is seen as a player who can add creativity and goals to the Arsenal attack, with the Gunners keen to avoid this season’s dip after injuries to Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz.
However, Cunha has had disciplinary issues in the past, which could be a concern for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
The Wolves man was banned for a red card offence in a recent FA Cup contest with Bournemouth and previously for a confrontation with a security guard in December 2024.
What next for Arsenal?
Arsenal, fresh off setting up a Champions League quarter-final with Real Madrid, host Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday, March 16.
