The Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, Musa Adamu Aliyu, SAN, has stated that Nigerian students are not just the leaders of tomorrow but also the agents of change in today’s society.
Aliyu made this statement at the National Civic Club Competition held recently in Abuja, where secondary school students from across the country gathered to participate in a competition aimed at highlighting the vital role of civil society in raising the next generation of ethical leaders.
As the ICPC Chairman, he emphasized the critical role of instilling values and integrity in young people.
“The fight against corruption is not merely a legal battle but a moral imperative that requires the active participation of every citizen,” he declared.
Aliyu further encouraged the students, stating that the competition, with its focus on civic education and engagement, provides a platform for young individuals to explore the principles of good governance, ethical conduct, and responsible citizenship.
