Adamawa: Police deploy personnel to restore normalcy in communal clash

Police authorities in Adamawa State have deployed personnel over tension in Lamza and Kawa communities following a communal clash on Friday.

Dankombo Morris, the Commissioner of police, has directed the deputy commissioner of police, department of investigation, to embark on a detailed and comprehensive investigation into the clash with a view to finding a workable solution.

He explained that the clash led to the destruction of property.

The commissioner expressed sadness over the loss of property and reassured the government and people of Guyuk that justice will be served.

Morris directed officers deployed to immediately bring the perpetrators to book as normalcy had been restored.
