1.) Automation Engineer
Location: Sokoto / Edo Plants

Job Description
- We are seeking qualified and experienced Automation Engineer with a track record of excellence in cement production for our two ultra-modern cement plants in Edo and Sokoto States.
Job Overview
Maintenance Units:
- The Automation Engineer is responsible for the design, programming, troubleshooting, and optimization of the automation and control systems used in cement plant operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, implement and configure automation systems for cement plant processes, including raw material preparation, kiln operations, grinding, and packing.
- Optimize automation systems for improved production efficiency, energy savings, and reduced downtime.
Qualifications / Experience
- HND or B. Engineering degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience with automation systems, ideally in a cement plant or heavy industry environment.

2.) Asset Manager

Job Summary
- The Asset Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the value of the company’s oil and gas assets.
- This includes managing the lifecycle of exploration and production assets, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring efficient operational performance while maximizing returns on investments.
- The ideal candidate will have a solid background in petroleum engineering, project management, and financial analysis, with strong leadership skills to drive strategic initiatives.
Duties / Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Specifically, the candidate’s duties will include:
- Oversee the performance of company’s primary asset, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Manage asset(s), development, production, and eventually decommissioning. Ensure proper planning and risk management at each stage of the asset’s lifecycle.
- Collaborate with operations teams to monitor asset performance, implement production optimization strategies, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Develop and manage asset budgets, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and conduct regular financial evaluations to maximize return on investment.
- Work closely with senior management to shape the company’s asset portfolio strategy. Identify opportunities for asset acquisitions, divestitures, and operational improvements.
- Liaise with joint venture partners, regulatory bodies, and internal teams such as finance, legal, and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) to ensure smooth asset operations.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to asset performance, including financial, operational, and environmental risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, Geosciences or a related field. A Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or similar postgraduate business degree and/or experience is a plus.
- 15 years of experience in asset management within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on upstream operations.
- Strong knowledge of oil and gas exploration and production processes.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive performance improvements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and using industry software (e.g., reservoir simulation tools, asset management systems).

Job Summary
- The Head, Subsurface will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of subsurface operations, including geology, geophysics, reservoir engineering, and petrophysics.
- He will lead the subsurface team and contribute to the strategic direction of our exploration and production activities.
Duties / Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Specifically, the candidate’s duties will include:
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of subsurface professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive subsurface strategy aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of exploration and appraisal programs, including well planning, drilling, and data acquisition.
- Lead the interpretation and integration of geological, geophysical, and petrophysical data to generate high-quality subsurface models.

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on the vertical raw mill (VRM) and associated systems, including the mill body, rollers, hydraulic systems, drives, and gearboxes.
- Monitor the performance of the vertical raw mill and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Job Description
- We are seeking qualified and experienced Cement Process Engineer / CCR Operator with a track record of excellence in cement production for our two ultra-modern cement plants in Edo and Sokoto States.
Job Overview
- Monitor various sections of the cement plant from the CCR to ensure compliance to standard and precision in the cement making process, giving due cognizance to process safety and energy efficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operating the kiln / raw mill/cement and coal mill plus auxiliary equipment from the CCR.
- Achieving optimum fuel and power efficiency.
- Guiding maintenance team in coordination with shift patrollers to improve plant availability.
- Identify/troubleshoot and resolve operational problems.
- Ensuring that products from his units meet specified standards. Ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Qualification / Experience
- B.Sc / B. Engineering Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry/ Physics/or equivalent.
- 2 – 3 years of hands-on experience in a cement plant CCR.
- Familiarity with the cement making process and control procedures.

Job Overview
- To ensure proper testing of all physical and chemical parameters of raw materials, intermediate and finished products in accordance with Nigerian Industrial Standard, NIS.
Duties & Responsibilities
- To Supervise Chemical and Physical testing of raw materials, intermediate and finished product in accordance with the NIS.
- To effectively Supervise building of raw materials stockpiles with a view to controlling raw meal and Kiln feed Chemistry.
- To update and preserve all test records.
- To effectively monitor and instruct on necessary measures to ensure good quality of intermediate and finished product in accordance with NIS.
Qualifications / Experience
- B.Sc / B. Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry / Physics / other natural Sciences
- 8 – 10 years of hands-on experience of working in a cement plant laboratory at a managerial level.
