1.) Head of Operations

Job Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled, strategic, and results-oriented Head of Operations to lead the operational management and growth of our EdTech and STEM organization.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, software development, and education, with experience in driving organizational growth, overseeing cross-functional teams, and ensuring the smooth execution of all operational activities, including marketing, sales, product development, and customer support.
- This role demands a visionary leader capable of scaling our organization’s impact and performance while ensuring that our educational products and services align with market needs and the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
Overall Organizational Growth & Strategy:
- Lead and drive the strategic vision and growth of the organization, aligning operational objectives with business goals to achieve short- and long-term success.
- Develop and execute operational strategies that scale the organization’s capabilities across education, software development, marketing, sales, and customer support.
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team to create comprehensive business plans that focus on market expansion, product innovation, and operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Oversee and guide key operational units, including engineering, software development, marketing, sales, and education, ensuring cohesive execution of the organization’s mission and vision.
- Manage and optimize the coordination between technical teams (engineering, product development) and business teams (sales, marketing) to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment on goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse and high-performing team, cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Engineering, Software Development & Product Management:
- Supervise the development and continuous improvement of educational products, platforms, and software solutions, ensuring they are scalable, innovative, and impactful.
- Work closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure timely delivery of features, enhancements, and bug fixes, maintaining a focus on user experience, quality, and performance.
- Ensure that the software development process aligns with agile methodologies, ensuring product development is efficient and aligned with market demand and user needs.
Sales and Marketing Oversight:
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase market share, customer acquisition, and brand awareness within the EdTech and STEM sector.
- Oversee the marketing team to ensure effective communication of the organization’s value proposition, product offerings, and educational impact to key stakeholders.
- Guide the sales team to meet or exceed revenue targets, establishing clear KPIs and processes for lead generation, sales conversion, and customer retention.
- Foster strong relationships with key partners, clients, and stakeholders to expand the organization’s footprint and reach.
Operational Excellence & Performance Management:
- Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across all operational units (engineering, product development, sales, marketing, and customer service) to ensure the organization’s performance meets or exceeds targets.
- Implement continuous improvement processes across operations, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve productivity, and optimize resource utilization.
- Monitor the overall health of the organization’s operations, identifying potential risks, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
Financial Management & Resource Allocation:
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance across all departments, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to meet organizational goals.
- Monitor expenses, optimize costs, and implement strategies that maximize profitability without compromising quality.
- Provide regular financial and performance reports to the executive leadership team, offering data-driven insights for decision-making.
Innovation & Market Development:
- Stay current with the latest trends in education technology, software development, and STEM, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of innovation in the EdTech space.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities for product development and market expansion.
- Lead product innovation efforts to ensure the organization’s offerings meet the evolving needs of schools, educators, and learners in STEM and related fields.
Stakeholder & Community Engagement:
- Cultivate relationships with key educational stakeholders, including schools, districts, universities, and government agencies, to drive adoption of the organization’s products and services.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, events, and forums, enhancing visibility and credibility in the EdTech and STEM communities.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, fostering a culture of responsiveness and customer-centricity.
Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Education Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
Experience:
- At least 8-10 years of senior leadership experience in operations, with a strong background in engineering, software development, and education—preferably within the EdTech or STEM sector.
- Proven track record of driving organizational growth, including expanding market presence, scaling operational processes, and improving performance across multiple departments (engineering, sales, marketing, etc.).
- Extensive experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, marketing, and sales.
- In-depth understanding of software development cycles, product management, and the integration of technology into educational products and services.
- Experience in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies within the EdTech space.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and management skills with a demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performance teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive long-term growth while maintaining operational efficiency.

2.) STEM Operations and Program Manager

Key Responsibilities
Program Management:

3.) STEM Instructor – (Grades 1-12)
Location: Yaba, Lagos
Job Description
- The STEM Instructor specializing in Coding and Robotics will teach students in grades 1 through 12 how to design, build, and program robots, as well as develop foundational coding skills.
- The role combines hands-on robotics instruction with coding concepts to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills in students.
- This instructor will provide a dynamic, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to explore STEM fields, work with technology, and prepare for future careers in robotics, engineering, and computer science.
Key Responsibilities
Coding and Robotics Instruction:
- Design and teach lessons that introduce and develop coding concepts (e.g., programming languages like Scratch, Python, JavaScript, or block-based coding) for students in grades 1-12.
- Guide students in using various robotics platforms and kits (e.g., LEGO Mindstorms, VEX Robotics, Arduino, Raspberry Pi) to build and program robots.
- Encourage hands-on, project-based learning where students create functional robots, code interactive programs, and solve real-world engineering challenges.
- Provide opportunities for students to participate in robotics competitions (e.g., FIRST LEGO League, VEX Robotics competitions) and other coding-related events.

Experience:
