Erling Haaland is set to sign an unprecedented nine-and-a-half-year contract with Manchester City, tying the Norwegian star to the club until 2034.
The 24-year-old striker, who joined from Borussia Dortmund in 2022 for €60 million (£51m), has become a phenomenon, scoring an incredible 111 goals in 126 matches.
Initially under contract until June 2027, Haaland had been linked with a future move to Real Madrid. However, The Athletic reports that he’s ready to dedicate the prime of his career to City. The new deal, which removes all exit clauses, is expected to rank among the most lucrative in football.

Additionally, the club has agreed to sign Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush and Juventus left-back Andrea Cambiaso for £54m.
