Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this scholarship , applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Nationality: Must be a non-Chinese citizen in good health (physical and psychological).
• Age Limit:
  • Master’s applicants: Under 35 years of age.
  • Doctoral applicants: Under 40 years of age.
• Academic Qualifications:
  • Master’s applicants: A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with excellent academic performance.
  • Doctoral applicants: A Master’s degree or its equivalent with exceptional academic records.
• Language Proficiency:
  • Programs taught in Chinese: HSK Level 4 required.

• A valid passport.
• Notarized highest diploma and academic transcripts (with translations if not in Chinese or English).
• Personal statement and research proposal (minimum 1,000 words).
• Two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors.
• Physical Examination Form (valid for six months).
• Language proficiency certificate.
• Non-criminal record certificate issued within six months.
• Supporting documents (e.g., publications, patents, certificates).
