Victor Boniface and Rikke Hermine have seemingly broken up after 4 years together.

Victor Boniface and his Norwegian influencer girlfriend Rikke Hermine Jansen have left fans stunned after unfollowing each other on Instagram, signalling the possible end of their four-year relationship.

 Adding fuel to the fire, Rikke wiped her Instagram profile clean, and set her page to private–leaving only one post and sparking speculation of a breakup.

The Bayer Leverkusen forward, 24, spent the festive season in Lagos, Nigeria, celebrating Christmas and his birthday with friends and family.

Meanwhile, Rikke, 21, stayed in Norway, sharing a festive Instagram post that read, “Merry Christmas, God Jul, and Merry Christmas.” 

Notably, she did not engage with Boniface’s birthday post, leaving fans questioning the couple’s status.

The last time the pair were seen publicly together was in May 2024 after Bayer Leverkusen’s historic Bundesliga triumph, for which Boniface was awarded the rookie of the season.

The pair celebrated the milestone with a kiss and posed for family pictures.

During the last summer break, the pair jetted off to Greece to unwind and Rikke shared loved up snaps from their baecation via her Instagram page.

Since then, the couple’s once-public relationship has seemingly cooled.

Pulse Sports first reported that Victor Boniface and Rikke Hermine’s romance began in 2021 when the Super Eagles striker was playing for Norwegian league giants FK Bodø/Glimt. 

Despite the initial secrecy around their relationship, Rikke became a vocal supporter of Boniface’s career, cheering him on both on and off the field.

However, cracks in their relationship seemed evident during the holiday season, with the couple opting for separate celebrations.

 While neither has addressed the rumours publicly, fans have been quick to speculate on what might have gone wrong.

As Victor focuses on his football career, Rikke is seemingly poised to begin a fresh chapter as the once-promising love story appears to have reached its end.

It is also unclear if there could be a reconciliation on the cards.
