A return to Serie A is on the cards for Ola aina as suitors continue to emerge.

What Happened

As Pulse Sports reported,  the Giallorossi are keen on signing a right-back and have been working on Devyne Rensch from Ajax but were unable to reach an agreement with de Godenzonen.

(function (v, d, o, ai) {
ai = d.createElement(‘script’);
ai.defer = true;
ai.async = true;
ai.src = v.location.protocol + o;
d.head.appendChild(ai);
})(window, document, ‘//a.vdo.ai/core/v-pulsesports-ng-v2/vdo.ai.js’);

Hence, they were said to have reprioritised their focus to Aina, given his contract situation. Per the report, Roma’s sporting director, Florent Ghisolfi, initiated contact with the players’ camp to discuss a possible move.

Ola Aina has been key to the Forest.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that Roma have finally reached an agreement for their man, for a deal worth €6 million, including add-ons.

Meanwhile, Roma are only one of the many suitors that have registered interest in the Super Eagles ace, however, Nottingham Forest are working hard to hand the former Torino man a new contract.

Aina’s current deal expires at the end of the season, and as Pulse Sports reported, Forest have begun negotiations with the 28-year-old over an extension.
