Last year the Chelsea great revealed that he would make an effort to persuade the striker to join the Stamford Bridge team.

Although Osimhen’s future is still up in the air, the attacker has stated that he would really like to get out of his season-long loan with Galatasaray.

The striker recently turned down a move to Manchester United of the English Premier League, despite having an escape clause in his contract with the Turkish team.

At the Florya Metin Oktay training facility in Galatasaray, Obi was seen meeting with some of the club’s top officials.

Obi who played for the Blues, has made no secret of his desire for Victor Osimhen to join Chelsea, a team based at Stamford Bridge.

The striker Nicolas Jackson has not been impressive in front of goal and Obi has been very critical of the Senegalese.

Osimhen was close to joining Chelsea last summer, but talks broke down in the closing hours of the transfer window.
