Arsenal continued their impressive form in the UEFA Champions League, having defeated Dinamo Zagreb at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners, who have struggled in their previous games, needed motivation to get back to their best.

With a 3-0 win against the Croatian side, Arteta’s men were able to boost their confidence as they moved to third place on the UCL table.

Mikel Arteta replaced injured William Saliba with Jakub Kiwior on the right side of central and Oleksandr Zinchenko replaced Myles Lewis-Skelly at left back.

Arsenal could not have asked for a better start to the game, with the Gunners taking the lead just two minutes into the game.

Gabriel Martinelli beat his man on the left flank and made a cross to Kai Havertz who cushioned a pass into the path of Declan Rice and the midfielder lashed it into the net.

Entering into the second half, Arsenal extended their lead following a nice cross by Martinelli that was headed in by Kai Havertz.

The Gunners crowned their effort with the third goal just a few minutes before the final whistle from Martin Odegaard’s close-range finish.

The win sent Arteta’s men into the Round of 16 as they joined the likes of Liverpool, Barcelona and Inter Milan in the next round.
