The 31-year-old has had a rough run in his career in the past few years. Injuries prevented him from participating in the Qatar 2022 World Cup; family members extorted him, and the most damning of it all, he received a four-year ban after failing a doping test.
He got his ban reduced to 18 months upon appeal; still, Juventus terminated his contract, as sporting director Cristiano Guintoli said they had already moved on from the midfielder.
Being a free agent now, the former Manchester United man has gotten multiple offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia and the MLS; however, he expressed his desire to continue in Europe.

Marseille are one of the few European clubs courting Pogba. Given they are currently second in the division, they meet one of Pogba’s criteria, as he dreams of Champions League football.

Quizzed about the prospects of reuniting with Pogba, who was teammates with him at Manchester United, Marseille’s top scorer, Mason Greenwood had the following to say.
“He’s a great man, professional, who has taken me under his wing,” he said to Telefoot. “He’s a top player. Any team in Europe would love to have him. If he came here, it would be great.”
Meanwhile, Greenwood has seen his fair share of controversies. Although he is legally a free man, after the Crown Prosecution Service dropped charges of attempted rape, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and controlling and coercive behaviour, the incident continues to impact his career.
Despite his immense quality, he was pushed out of Manchester United and has had to pursue a club career outside the club of his dreams. More recently, he reportedly confirmed he will no longer be considered by the FA for Three Lions duty, hence, has switched allegiance to Jamaica.
