Napoli are in advanced talks with Borussia Dortmund to sign Karim Adeyemi.
The 23-year-old forward has been a decent performer for Dortmund this season, scoring five goals and providing five assists in 14 games across all competitions.
Napoli are looking for a striker to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who recently joined Paris Saint-Germain.

Napoli’s Adeyemi interest
They have been impressed by Adeyemi’s talent and believe he could be a valuable addition to their squad.

However, Adeyemi’s salary demands are said to be a stumbling block. According to reports in Italy, the forward is reportedly asking for €4.5 million per year, which would make him one of the highest-paid players at Napoli.
The Serie A side are currently in negotiations with Borussia Dortmund to try and agree on a transfer fee. If they can reach an agreement, they will then need to negotiate a salary with Adeyemi.
The transfer window closes on February 3rd, so the Partenopei will need to act quickly if they want to sign the Germany international before then.

If Napoli can successfully sign Adeyemi, they will have added a talented young striker to their squad. This could help them to sustain their challenge for this season’s Scudetto.
