Senegalese football icon Sadio Mané and his wife Aisha Tamba have welcomed their first child, just 14 months after their widely publicised wedding, Pulse Sports reports.
The joyous news was seemingly confirmed by Mané’s Saudi Pro League club, Al Nassr, who recently shared a heartfelt video of the footballer walking through the club’s facility while reciting a powerful verse from the Quran.

The Senegal star did not stutter when asked about his potential plans to start a family with his young wife.

In the video shared on Thursday, March 13, Mané recited Al-Kahf Ayat 46: “Wealth and children are the adornment of this worldly life, but the everlasting good deeds are far better with your Lord in reward and in hope.”
The club captioned the post on Instagram: “A new blessing for Sadio Mané! Wishing him and his family endless joy…Allah provided them with its righteousness, and made her one of His righteous servants.”

Reports suggest that Mané, one of the highest-paid African footballers in the world, and his 19-year-old wife welcomed their baby in Saudi Arabia, where they currently reside.

While speculation swirls that the newborn has been named ‘Aissata’, Pulse Sports cannot verify the authenticity of these claims as of the time of this report.
Mané, who has always been vocal about his love for family, previously shared his desire to have multiple children.
Speaking to Senepeopleplus, he expressed his hopes:
“Funny question. If it is just a choice, I would say 3 or 4. Except that it is God who decides, and I will thank Him no matter what.”

The former Liverpool star even left the door open for more, cheekily adding, “Maybe seven or eight children, you never know. Whatever the number is, I will accept it and thank God.”

Months after tying the knot in a lavish ceremony in Senegal, Sadio Mane’s wife has graduated from secondary school.
