The MMEG France Program provides grants to women from developing countries who are enrolled as full-time students in certified universities or schools in France. Whether you’re pursuing a certificate, undergraduate, graduate, or postdoctoral degree, this funding opportunity can help you achieve your goals.

What the Program Offers

  • Duration: Up to 3 years of financial support.
  • Research Fields: Formal sciences, professions and applied sciences, and social sciences.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Self-Identify as Women: Candidates must be women from eligible developing countries listed on the MMEG country eligibility list.
  • Minimum Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 25 years old by the application deadline.
  • Enrollment Status: Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an eligible in-person program and institution in France.
  • Visa/Residency: Must have a valid student visa in their national passport or residence card.
  • Study Continuation: Plan to continue studying full-time for at least one academic semester (half year) following the award in April.
  • Graduation Timeline: Commit to graduating no later than three years after the award.
  • Exclusions: Applicants must not be related to World Bank Group , IMF, or Inter-American Development Bank staff or MMEG Board members.
