We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Core IP Network Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the core IP network infrastructure.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of the network.
  • Manage and optimize IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, etc.) for efficient traffic flow.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues promptly.
  • Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions to accommodate growth and new services.
  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and security to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in IP networking.

Experience-Education-Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IP network engineering or a similar role.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale IP networks, preferably in a service provider environment.
  • Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, etc.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to lead a team of network engineers effectively.
  • Any relevant certifications or training in networking technologies would be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and experience leading network projects from conception to implementation.

Essential Skills / Knowledge / Traits:

  • Proficiency in IP networking principles and protocols.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, MPLS, and QoS.
  • Experience with configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, and firewalls from various vendors.
  • Knowledge of network security concepts and best practices.
  • Ability to analyze complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills/Knowledge/Traits:

  • Experience with Software-Defined Networking (SDN) technologies.
  • Familiarity with network automation and scripting languages (Python, Ansible, etc.).
  • Understanding of cloud networking principles and architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of IPv6 deployment and migration strategies.
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools (Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.).
  • Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent.

2.) Field Service Engineer (Rigger)

Location: Victoria Islan,  Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Objective & Summary

  • Responsible in complementing the delivery of field related Netcom Services to our clientele in conjunction/collaboration with other field units.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Delivery of assigned field related works/activities as a managed Service Provider that provides services but not limited to below:
Connectivity Services:

  • Fiber
  • DIA
  • VSAT
  • BIA

Security Services:

  • Enterprise Security Applications

Related to FSE activities:

  • Survey
  • Installation
  • Relocation
  • Retrievals
  • Preventive and Corrective Maintenance
  • echnical assistance to our partners
  • Related technical support to our internal and external clients.
  • Mandatory Safety-First policy to be adhered to.
  • Timely adherence to agreed client schedule.
  • Provides real-time updates to Supervisor/HOD on the assigned task from start of assigned activity to completion.
  • Ensures that the clientele is well informed of the activity being carried out at the start and acknowledged confirmed completion.
  • Submits timely activity reports and forms to FSE supervisor & HOD in line with FSE procedures, workflows, work instructions.
  • Ensures that all activities assigned are carried out to the letter.
  • Ensure that all activities carried out are according to company defined standards.

Experience, Education and/or Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering or its equivalent.
  • Preferred inclusive related hands-on experience in the telecoms and ISP

Essential Skills / knowledge / Traits:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in the telecom or ISP industry (operations experience).
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications as a tool requirement for creating reports and statistics.
  • Basic Engineering knowledge and practice.
  • RF engineering/installation knowledge and use of basic measurement equipment and tools.
  • Customer oriented/focused in delivering services (field related works)
  • Good communications skills (English and native) both oral and written to be able to deliver instructions to internal and external clients.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Proficient in the use of communication tools for real-time reporting

  • Data Tester
  • Spectrum analyzer
  • Ground tester

Desirable Skills / knowledge / Traits:

  • Knowledge in basic networking and monitoring.
  • Knowledge and experience in basic electrical circuits with hands-on preferred.
  • Knowledge in telecom power systems with hands-on preferred.

3.) IT System Administrator

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The IT System Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization’s IT infrastructure.
  • This role ensures the availability, security, and efficiency of systems, networks, and software applications to support business operations effectively.
  • The System Administrator also provides technical support, troubleshoots issues, and implements improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and IT systems.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Implement security measures to protect systems from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
  • Perform system updates, patches, and backups to ensure data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Maintain documentation for IT processes, configurations, and policies.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to optimize system performance and resolve technical issues.
  • Support end-users by providing technical assistance and training as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • First Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and networking concepts.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Proficiency in managing Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other network services.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
  • Hands-on experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Cisco CCNA) are a plus.
