Marsand Bespoke Joinery is a furniture company looking to recruit more staff to our expanding team, we manufacture and instal kitchen and bedroom cabinets to individuals and contractors.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Architect

Location: Ajah, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Description

• The Architect  is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of buildings and structures to ensure they meet client requirements, aesthetic appeal, functionality, and regulatory standards.
• This role combines creative design, technical expertise, and project management skills to deliver successful architectural projects.

Key Responsibilities
Design and Planning:

• Develop innovative and functional architectural designs for residential, commercial, or public projects.
• Create detailed blueprints, drawings, and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools.

Client Collaboration:

• Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgetary constraints.
• Present design concepts, make revisions based on feedback, and ensure alignment with client expectations.

Project Management:

• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and progress to ensure adherence to plans.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals for construction projects.

Site Visits and Supervision:

• Conduct site visits to oversee construction and ensure work aligns with design specifications.
• Address any issues or discrepancies during the construction process.

Sustainability and Innovation:

• Incorporate sustainable and energy-efficient solutions into designs.
• Stay updated on architectural trends, materials, and advancements to deliver cutting-edge designs.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare comprehensive reports, specifications, and contracts for projects.
• Maintain accurate records of design changes, project milestones, and budgets.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree  with 4-10 years experience.

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 / Month.
