Former presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has met with former Military Head of State, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, IBB.
Atiku described the visit to Babangida as a courtesy call.
Posting on X, Atiku wrote: “On a courtesy visit to former military President Ibrahim Babangida ahead of his book launch tomorrow.”
This visit followed Atiku’s private meeting with his former boss and ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo a few weeks ago.
The former Vice President met Obasanjo at his residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The meeting included prominent politicians such as Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi, former Cross River State Governor Liyel Imoke, former Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal, and Obasanjo’s close associate, Oyewole Fasawe.
