Morgan Gibbs-White has emerged as one of the most sought-after midfielders in the Premier League, with as many as five Big Six clubs, including Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United, closely monitoring his situation at Nottingham Forest.
The 25-year-old has been instrumental in Forest’s impressive campaign under Nuno Espirito Santo, contributing five goals and six assists in 24 league appearances. His performance in Forest’s recent 1-0 win over Manchester City, where he set up Callum Hudson-Odoi’s winner, further solidified his status as a key playmaker.
Despite being overlooked by England boss Thomas Tuchel for the upcoming international break, Gibbs-White’s consistency and creativity have caught the attention of top clubs. Forest are keen to extend his contract, but with no new deal agreed and his current contract running until 2027, interest from elite sides is growing.

Liverpool’s Dominik Szoboszlai and Tottenham’s James Maddison would provide stiff competition, while Manchester City could view him as a potential replacement for Kevin De Bruyne.
Manchester United, however, could be the most suitable destination. With uncertainty surrounding Alejandro Garnacho’s role and potential summer sales of Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo, Gibbs-White could seamlessly slot into Erik ten Hag’s attacking midfield setup.
While Forest are determined to keep their star man, the lure of European football and the opportunity to compete at the highest level could tempt Gibbs-White to make a move in the upcoming transfer window.
