What Remy said
Remy, who played for Chelsea from 2014 to 2017, believes Palmer has the technical talent to thrive in Spain’s top league, La Liga, and could play for giants like Real Madrid, Barcelona, or Atletico Madrid.
“If Palmer did decide to leave Chelsea, he would thrive in Spain. He has so much ability with the ball and he makes the game look easy,” Remy told Plejmo.

“He has all the technical talent to thrive at a club like Real Madrid, Barcelona or Atletico Madrid. He has the profile to be a success there, but first, he will try to win major trophies with Chelsea, that is his priority,” he added.
Remy acknowledged that Chelsea’s current struggles may impact Palmer’s decision to stay at the club.

Former Chelsea and Tottenham midfielder Gus Poyet has commented on the possibility of Tuchel playing Cole Palmer and Jude Bellingham.
“Chelsea have a very young squad and Cole Palmer is part of that, it looks like he is struggling at the moment.
“He is struggling, but the whole team is struggling. He has had some incredible performances and scored and created goals, but the spotlight is always on him. When he isn’t playing well, it can impact the team, and he’s not a superhero,” he said.

Former Chelsea star has revealed that Cole Palmer’s emergence has hindered Nkunku’s Chelsea career.
Remy stated that Palmer’s priority is to win trophies with Chelsea, but if that becomes unlikely, he may consider moving on.
“Palmer will want to win trophies, and if Chelsea can’t do that, then eventually, he might decide to move on,” Remy said.

Remy’s comments echo those of Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher, who noticed Palmer growing “frustrated” during Chelsea’s recent Premier League defeat to Brighton.
Carragher warned that Palmer will “want to leave” if results do not improve.
