Former Republic of Ireland striker, Clinton Morrison, has insisted that Nottingham Forest have Premier League “title ambitions”.
Morrison made the comments on BBC Radio 5 Live, following Forest’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool on Tuesday night.
Chris Wood scored his 13th goal of the season to give the hosts the lead.
But the Reds fought back to equalize with Diogo Jota in the second half, as the league leaders left with one point.
The result means Liverpool have 47 points, six more than Forest, although Arne Slot’s men have a game in hand.
Morrison said: “Forest have definitely got title ambitions. To hold the best team in the league is a fantastic result.
“Liverpool came on strong in the last 10 minutes and you have to stick together. To get four points off the team who are probably going to win the league is brilliant.
“Off the evidence of tonight, Forest will finish in the Champions League spots.”
