The Faculty of History at the University of Oxford  is calling for applications for the 2025 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) European Postdoctoral Fellowships.

Due to the high demand and level of support required for MSCA applications, the Faculty of History has introduced an internal selection process. This means that interested candidates must first submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) before proceeding with the full application.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the MSCA European Postdoctoral Fellowships, you must:

• Hold a doctorate (or have at least four years of full-time research experience)
• Have a maximum of eight years of research experience post-PhD (exceptions apply)
• Demonstrate international mobility as an essential part of the fellowship
• Co-develop the application with the Oxford supervisor and host Faculty.

How to Apply: Step-by-Step Guide?

Step 1: Find a Supervisor

• You must identify and secure a permanent post-holder within the Faculty of History who agrees to act as your supervisor.
• If you wish to be considered by multiple faculties, you must secure an agreement with a supervisor from each faculty.

Step 2: Submit Your Expression of Interest (EOI): Your EOI must include project proposal, Cv, and name of agreed supervisor.
