Guardiola has been reprimanded for his schoolboy approach against Luis Enrique’s men.
Pep Guardiola has come under severe criticism after Manchester City were defeated 4-2 by Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday.
PSG vs Man City
City let a two-goal lead slip in a dramatic defeat to the Ligue 1 giants in the Champions League.
Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland scored in quick succession early in the second half, seemingly putting Guardiola’s troops in control.
However, PSG responded with a stunning comeback, netting twice in four minutes through Ousmane Dembele and Bradley Barcola to level the scores.
Joao Neves then headed the French club in front before Goncalo Ramos sealed the victory in added time.
Despite the disappointing result, City can still progress to the play-off round with a win against Club Brugge at home next week, with the Premier League side on eight points, two shy of four clubs in those positions — Benfica, PSG, Sporting and Stuttgart.

However, the English side’s performance irked Alejandro Moreno, who reprimanded Guardiola’s tactics on ESPN.
“As a manager, there’s got to be a recognition. We’re seeing it and we continue to see it happen, and there’s been zero adjustment,” said the former striker.
“If you can’t press, then don’t press. Why do something you’re not capable of? They’re neither pressing nor sitting back.
“What does it tell us about Pep Guardiola? He obviously recognises this but chooses not to adjust. If he were going to change that would have happened two months ago.
“Now, he’s just saying, ‘This is who we are, and this is how we’re going to play’, and that is foolish.”
What next for Man City?
Guardiola’s men return to top-flight action on Saturday when they take on Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea.
