Former Super Eagles defender Taye Taiwo has been honoured by French Ligue 1 club Olympique Marseille, with his induction into the club’s prestigious Club of Legends.
Taiwo, who played for Marseille from 2005 to 2011, made a great impact during his six-year stint, registering 25 goals and 23 assists in 271 appearances.
He was a key member of the team that won the Ligue 1, League Cup, and French Super Cup for the French club.
