Ahead of Atalanta’s crucial Serie A clash against Juventus, Italian legend Cristian Brocchi has singled out Ademola Lookman as the key player for Atalanta.
Lookman’s all-round attacking play has been essential to Gasperini’s system at Atalanta this season, despite Matteo Retegui leading the team in league goals with 21.
This season he has scored 12 Serie A goals, highlighting the Nigerian forward’s pace, creativity and intelligent attacking movement.
On Sunday, Gian Piero Gasperini’s team will head to Allianz Stadium, hoping to solidify their position in the Serie A title race and secure a spot in the Champions League.

Ademola Lookman is attracting interest from a LALIGA side that view him as an ideal candidate for their set up.

Nigeria and Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman is reportedly the subject of interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

According to Serie A’s official website, he said, “At the moment, Lookman is Atalanta’s difference maker.
“He is fast, his final ball is good, and in 1-v-1s he can either finish himself or set up a teammate. He is a complete player, who breaks up the game.
“He could be decisive, maybe with a goal, but also with his movement and his set-up play for Retegui.”
Lookman is nearing a personal milestone, in addition to Atalanta’s pursuit of a crucial win. The attacker is on the verge of scoring his 50th goal for the club, needing just one more against a major Serie A side to reach this milestone.

Ademola Lookman has been superb for Atalanta.
Lookman could move higher on Atalanta’s all-time scoring list with 11 games left to play this season.
With 49 goals to his name, he is currently behind club greats Duván Zapata (82), Luis Muriel (68), Josip Iličić (60), Alejandro Gómez (59), and German Denis (56).
Lookman has the perfect opportunity to make history for himself and Atalanta’s Serie A title hopes in Sunday’s match against Juventus.
