Speaking to reporters, Simeone credited Flick with having a significant impact on Barcelona since his arrival in the summer.

Simeone also expressed his admiration for Barcelona’s playing style, acknowledging that his team may have to endure a tough night at the Camp Nou.

“I really like the way the opponent plays, they have a strong defence with that high line they maintain,” he added.
The Atletico Madrid coach emphasised the importance of being prepared to suffer during the match, citing their recent encounter against Real Madrid as an example.

The winner of the tie will advance to the Copa del Rey final, where they will face either Real Madrid or Real Sociedad.
