Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi has revealed the player he considers a brother in the Super Eagles squad.
Super Eagles Alex Iwobi has shared the heartwarming story of his long-standing relationship with Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina.
Their friendship, which spans over 18 years, has culminated in Super Eagles appearances and a run to the AFCON final while playing crucial roles.
Iwobi and Aina’s connection began when they were just kids.

Leicester City boss Ruud Van Nistelrooy has revealed that Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has recovered from an injury in time to face Manchester United.
“We’ve come a long way. We went to the same primary and secondary school. I was in year five, and he(Aina) was in year four.
“People say we are friends, but we are brothers,” Iwobi said.
Nigeria’s Ola Aina hits a century of points on FPL.
Iwobi made his debut for Super Eagles in 2015, and Aina followed suit in 2017.
Both stars went on to play pivotal roles as Nigeria went all the way to the AFCON 2023 final, where they ultimately lost to Cote d’Ivoire.
