The match saw Real Madrid relinquish a two goal lead before ultimately prevailing in extra time. Endrick scored in the 108th and 119th minute.
Haaland has committed his future to the club after enjoying success during his time in English football.
These goals will boost the 18-year-old’s confidence, especially considering his limited La Liga appearances this season (just 83 minutes).
What Endrick said
Endrick expressed his happiness at contributing to the team and highlighted the influence of certain teammates, particularly Antonio Rudiger.
It was a sad Christmas for Endrick and his family following the ‘targeted’ killing of his sister’s husband.
“I keep working every day. My two goals are for Antonio Rudiger. He knows what he does for me every day. He never praises me, and that’s a good thing! He tells me what to do, to score, to run, to keep fighting.
“Yesterday in training he gave me a tough game. I was thinking about it at home and he’s a great person. The goals are for him,” Endrick told Real Madrid TV.
He continued, “The first was a very important goal for me. This is my job. I have to do well for the team, scoring goals, doing whatever. Scoring a goal for Madrid, for these fans, the players, the staff, is really good. In the last Copa game I missed the chances I had. Today, I had two chances and scored.”
Speculation have arisen about a potential January loan move away from the Bernabeu for the young Brazilian but he remains committed to Real Madrid and will be hoping to get more chances to showcase his talent.
