Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has singled out one Chelsea player for criticism after the Blues’ win against Wolves.
Jamie Carragher has strongly criticized Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez following his mistake in the Blues’ 3-1 Premier League victory over Wolves on Monday night.
Despite Chelsea’s win, Sanchez’s error allowed Matt Doherty to score for Wolves from a corner kick.
Analyzing the play on Sky Sports, Carragher expressed his disappointment with Sanchez’s decision-making.

“Every set-piece is the same now, with people trying to block the goalkeeper,” Carragher said.
“He pushes someone away so he now has the time to deal with it. He should punch it. He’s a Premier League goalkeeper. It’s not a foul. There’s nothing there.”
Carragher questioned Sanchez’s ability to perform at a high level, suggesting that he may not be suited for a top Premier League team.

“We keep getting signs that Sanchez is a Premier League goalkeeper – but maybe for a team in the bottom half of the table and not a top team,” Carragher stated.
Chelsea’s win lifts them back into third place in the Premier League standings ahead of their massive showdown with Manchester City this weekend.
