Heilongjiang University Scholarship 2025 for International Students

Heilongjiang University, a renowned institution approved by China’s Ministry of Education to host international students, is offering the Heilongjiang University Scholarship 2025 under the Chinese Government Scholarship Program.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Citizenship: Must be a non-Chinese citizen in good health.
• Educational Background:
  • Master’s applicants: Must hold a bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old.
  • PhD applicants: Must hold a master’s degree and be under 40 years old.
• Academic Performance: A minimum academic score of 75 points or higher.
• Language Proficiency:
  • Applicants must score at least 180 on the HSK Level 4 Chinese Proficiency Test.
  • Those without HSK Level 5 proficiency must first complete a one-year Chinese language course.
  • Graduates of Chinese-taught undergraduate programs are exempt from providing HSK scores.
• No Other Scholarships: Applicants must not be receiving funding from any other scholarship program.
• Strong Research Ability: Applicants must demonstrate potential for academic research.

Application Process

The application process is based on “individual application, institution recommendation, expert review, and merit-based admission.”

Applicants must first register on the Chinese Government Scholarship portal using the Heilongjiang University agency code 10212 and complete the online application (https://hi.hlju.edu.cn/admissions/jxj/zgzfgspyjs.htm) by February 28, 2025.

Afterward, original and duplicate copies of the required documents must be submitted to the International Student Admissions Office of Heilongjiang University by March 31, 2025.
