Former Torino and Como striker Giulio Ebagua has weighed in on the qualities of Nigerian duo Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman.
Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman are two of the brightest Nigerian talents on the global stage, and arguably both in the top 20 footballers on the planet.
Lookman, in particular, had a splendid 2024, culminating in his coronation as CAF Player of the Year, following in the footsteps of Osimhen, who won the award in 2023.
Osimhen, who is on loan at Turkish giants Galatasaray from Napoli, has continued to score at an alarming rate and is likely to seal a move to the Premier League this summer.

Chelsea legend Mikel Obi visits Victor Osimhen at Galatasaray for a Podcast episode with rumours of a transfer to the Premier League.

Speaking about the impact of both players, former Torino and Como forward Giulio Ebagua delivered an honest assessment.
“I have to be honest: I didn’t particularly like Osimhen from a technical and stylistic point of view, but he always stands out for the many goals he scores,” Ebagua said, via Europa Calcio.

“Osimhen is a certainty in every team he plays for, including the national team. Even if I’m not crazy about him from a technical point of view, the numbers speak for him.”
Speaking of Lookman, Ebagua, who currently plays for Serie D club Città di Varese said;
“Lookman has incredible qualities and can always improve. He is a phenomenon in terms of characteristics. He can play anywhere and is extraordinary as a human being.

“Next year, I think he should leave Atalanta, even though the club is doing well. In my personal opinion, Lookman can aspire to Real Madrid, Manchester [United], Barcelona—wherever he wants. He will improve further and raise the bar even higher.”
Lookman has contributed 13 goals and 6 assists to Atalanta’s cause this season, including stunning strikes against Real Madrid and Juventus.

New Besiktas boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly identified a Super Eagles star as his first signing for the club.

Ex-Galatasaray star Ümit Karan has claimed that Victor Osimhen is lagging behind Mauro Icardi in terms of finishing.
