Usain Bolt revealed his dream 100m lineup, which surprisingly has the absence of Christian Coleman and Carl Lewis, while Noah Lyles is included.
In a surprising revelation by Jamaican track legend Usain Bolt, he disclosed his admiration for Noah Lyles, selecting him ahead of Christian Coleman and the great Carl Lewis in his dream 100m lineup.
Bolt who is regarded as the greatest track athlete in history, made a guest appearance on the Ready Set Go podcast hosted by track icons Justin Gatlin and Rodney Green, where he talked about his career, greatest 100m race ever, and rivalry with other American sprinters.

When asked what his dream 100m lineup would look like, the eight-time Olympic gold medallist wasted no time calling out his preferred names.
“He the fastest man in history so he beat them all,” said Green as a response to the question.

Sha’Carri Richardson’s boyfriend Christian Coleman has a record and bragging right over Usain Bolt, which undeniably ranks him highly among the greatest sprinters in history.
“I want to know who he wanna run against..,” asked Gatlin for the second time, before Bolt responded:
“Me, you (Justin Gatlin), Tyson Gay, Asafa Powell, Yohan Blake. I would definitely like to compete against Maurice Green, Ben Johnson. Let’s give Noah the spot just because I would love to race against him.”
As the 100m and 200m world record holder, his answer comes as a surprise considering Coleman was the only athlete to beat him twice in his career at a major championship, which was at the London 2017 World Championships where the American newbie won their 100m semifinal race, and in the final blazed to the silver medal behind Justin Gatlin, while Bolt settled for the Bronze medal.

Likewise, when asked about Carl Lewis missing from the list, Bolt shrugged it off – “Nah”.
The Jamaican’s dream selection and wanting to race Lyles cannot be overlooked, considering he did a three-peat at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest and backed it up by winning Olympic 100m gold in Paris last year.
